Oh My, July! (Part 2)

 10. Addie turned 5!  She got fairy dolls, books, a puzzle, a bike, a helmet, and a basket.  She was the most excited about the bike, and for good reason.  She had been asking for one for months!  We ate lasagna roll-ups for dinner and had candy for dessert, all per her requests.

 11. Addie had her first birthday party with friends.

It was a Popsicle/ Water Party!  She invited 5 friends: Anna, Brooklyn, Caitlyn, Grace (who is 10, but so cool), and Jane.

They had a water balloon fight.  It took me an hour to fill those balloons all up, and it took them only 3 minutes to use them all.

They played squirt gun tag.

They ate rainbow popsicles, sugar cookies (with blue frosting and rainbow sprinkles) and drank Brazilian limeade.

She opened presents: a gumball machine, a Rapunzel Barbie Doll, a Go Fish game, a Koala stuffed animal (that she named Sparkles and takes everywhere), and a Splash Ball game.

Then they played Follow the Leader back and forth across the Slip 'n Slide until the party was over.

 Grandma was invited too, but she mostly took care of Bubba Jack so he wouldn't crash the party.  He never once did, so she did her job well.
