Well, its been crazy around here with two kids and next to no sleep, but we are all still alive. Part of what's keeping us alive, I think, are the silly things that Addie says. Here are a few examples:
"I love you more than all the things in this house!" or "I love you more than the werald (world)." (She says both those things all the time.)
"I'm going to hide these stickers where I can't find them or reach them."
Mom: "Why do you think you don't have to listen to me?"
Addie: "Because I think my choices are better."
Addie made a sandwich for Jason with her playfood. It had everything on it and was really tall.
Dad: "How did you know I like big sandwiches?"
Addie: "Because you have a big mouth."
Addie and Jason were looking at ants on the back patio.
Addie: "Where are they going?"
Dad: "Home. What do you think an ant's house looks like?"
Addie: "I don't know, I've never been an ant."
Another thing she's been into lately is washing things. I'll send her in the bathroom to wash her hands and she'll come out with wet hands, wet feet, and sopping wet hair. She also spends a lot of time (and water) washing rocks. She has a jar of the cleanest rocks around. They get more baths than Addie herself.
She keeps us entertained, that's for sure. She's been an excellent helper with Jack and doesn't hesitate to go get things for him, like a binky or burp cloth. Now, if only she would have the same attitude about all the other things I ask her to do...
It may be too early to tell, but it looks like Jack might end up being a silly one, too.

Announcing... Jack!
Our baby boy is here! We're so excited (and so tired). We love him to pieces! The post below contains the official announcement, complete with Jack's stats. It was a quick and slick delivery, just the way I like 'em. Now if only it was a quick and slick return to normal functioning...
Jack is a well-behaved baby thus far. He is content to just sit and look around quietly, unless of course he is hungry. He has white-blonde hair all over and wrinkly little knees. He can spread all of his toes out. We already have a plethora of nicknames for him, such as: Jack-Jack, Flapjack, and Jack Attack. We love him, and we're glad to have him in our family!
