We caught gold fever this summer and purchased a gold pan to try our luck. On one such occasion our friend Stanton came along. No one struck it rich, but it was still fun trying. Addie set her sights on a more attainable material: rock. She was successful and came home with a bucket full of specimens.
Can you see the visual signs of gold fever on his face? Poor sick man.On one particular day we were lucky enough to spend time with these cute girls and their moms. We went to an indoor play gym and then out to lunch. Too bad we don't all live on the same street!
The fam posing with an Anklyosaurus. Looking back I see how stupid it was to turn our backs on him. We were lucky he wasn't in the mood to dine.
Of course, we never miss the State Fair rodeo. This was our second rodeo of the year and Addie was already impressed with the barrel racers. At home she likes to hide and then ask in an announcer voice, "Are you ready to see the cowgirls?" And then she runs out of her hiding spot and races around the room, preferably on her stick horse. She also likes barrel racing in the backyard. Don't believe me? See for yourself.
